Read More »It took four overtimes, but the Methuen girls basketball team (finally) topped Tewksbury, 76-74. The Rangers improved to 4-4 thanks to the extraordinary effort.
"We'd gone ahead several times during regulation and they just kept coming back," coach Karen McLaughlin said. "It came right down to the wire. Each overtime, they went up, and then we would come back. It was just crazy, like survival of the fittest."
