Still perfect

Ryan Swanson came back after a first set loss to score successive 6-2 wins and set the pace for Pentucket in a 5-0 win over Mancehster-Essex.  The Sachems stay perfact (7-0) and received a strong performance from Pat Dahn, who recorded a 7-5, 6-0 sweep.  Swanson and Dahn both remain undefeated as well as the doubles team of Nick Giannino and B.G. Smith, who also came back to score a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 decision.

Youth served

 

North Andover's boys tennis team dropped its opener, 3-2 indoors at Manchester Essex, but it was a good match for the underclassmen. Sophomore Alex Hammond won at third singles 6-2, 6-1 and the second doubles team of sophomore Andrew Smith and freshman Kyle White won in three sets.
