Georgetown's softball team snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 10-4 victory to end its season on a high note. Jane Erlandson, filling in for mononucleosis-plagued sister Sarah picked up her first varsity win and JV catcher Kelsey Dion, an eighth grader, did a nice job filling in at catcher. Amy Cronin was 2 for 3 and scord twice.

Pentucket's softball team capped off a fine regular season with two runs in the sixth and a run in the seventh to edge Rockport 5-4. Bernadette Corrado had the game-winning RBI in the seventh and Mary Kate Corrado was 2 for 4 and scored twice.

North Andover's softbalkl team rallied with four runs in the seventh, keyed by RBI triples by Sara McCarthy and Paige Ahlholm, to rally past Rockport 6-4.

Sarah Erlandson fanned 13 in a complete-game four-hitter as Georgetown trimmed Rockport, 2-1. Taylor Nelson tripled in the sixth and Jane Erlandson clinched the win for her sister with an RBI sacrifice fly.

Sarah Erlandson struck out 15 batters and delivered two doubles of her own as Georgetown opened its season by downing Manchester Essex 4-1.

Pentucket finally got its bats going, beating up on Rockport, 11-4. Junior Julia Torvi had two triples and drove in three runs for the Sachems as part of a 16-hit attack.

North Andover standout Candace Waldie had two solo home runs and scored the winning run in the seventh when she was intentionally walked to lead off the inning and doubled home by Danielle Fournier in a 4-3 victory at Rockport.

Pitching must run in the Erlandson family. Sisters Sarah and Jane Erlandson combined for a no-hitter in Georgetown's 12-1 drubbing of Manchester Essex. Star junior Sarah threw four innings, while freshman Jane finished off the final three.

Cassandra Davis was 4 for 5 with two doubles for the Clippers (12-4). Lindsey Tomasz was 2 for 4 with a home run. Taylor Summitt was 4 for 4 with three runs scored. Shannon Brunault went 2 for 3. Pitcher Beth Castantini was 2 for 4 and earned the complete-game, one-hit victory. Rachel Notargiacomo was 2 for 5.

Julianne Meehan picked up her seventh victory of the season thanks to seven strong innings of seven-strikeout ball as Pentucket cruised past Rockport, 10-0. Samantha Morrow (2 for 5), Bernadette Corrado (3 for 4) and Nicole Chevalier (2 for 2) all registered multi-hit games for the Sachems.

Bernadette Corrado was 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs for the Sachems (7-6). Sam Morrow was 2 for 5 with two RBIs. JulieAnn Meehan pitched a two-hitter with seven strike outs and two walks.
