DURHAM — For a few moments, it looked as if Pinkerton had turned the momentum.

Trailing by two touchdowns midway through the first quarter, Astros QB Aiden Goujon dropped back and floated a perfect pass to wide open Ty Hicks. The speedy halfback did the rest, cruising into the end zone for a 58-yard touchdown.

SALEM — With a trip to the Division 1 championship game within reach, Pinkerton’s Josh McCormack would not be denied.

With the Astros clinging to a three-point lead midway through the fourth quarter, McCormack burst through the offensive line, saw the fumble pop loose and grabbed on as tight as he could.

NASHUA – Despite a superior record and a head-to-head victory against its opponent, Pinkerton still found itself on the road on Saturday.

But a quick bus ride wasn't about to derail the Astros.

MERRIMACK — The final test before the playoffs went well for Pinkerton.

Quarterback Aiden Goujon threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns, and the Astros blew out Merrimack on the road, 56-21.

KEENE — Pinkerton got contributions from nearly everyone Friday night in a 55-0 romp over Keene.

The Astros (7-1) led 21-0 at halftime and 41-0 after three quarters with the reserves nearly as effective as the starters.

SALEM, N.H. — Understandably, Salem senior middle linebacker Ben Genest liked what he saw when he looked out on the field in the second half Saturday afternoon.

NASHUA — Pinkerton flattened Nashua North behind the play of the Hicks twins.

Ty Hicks racked up 93 rushing yards and 83 receiving yards and scored three times. Tyrell Hicks had 104 yards on just 8 carries and scored twice.

DERRY — Aiden Goujon passed for 172 yards and 3 touchdowns as Pinkerton football dominated Bishop Guertin 49-13 on Friday.

Pinkerton jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first and then tacked on four touchdowns in the second to make it 49-13 at the half.

DERRY — Ty Hicks was sure to be stopped for a loss, with a defender in his face just as he took the handoff.

One juke later, however, that opponent dove and ended up only with air.
