No. 5 Londonderry saw No. 12 Dover knock down a 3-pointer with nine seconds left to upset the Lancers 47-46 in the Division 1 first round. Delaney McGurn and Kelsey Coffey each led Londonderry with 11 points.

The Londonderry girls hoops team is winners of three straight, including a 58-57 nailbitting win against Winnacunnet. Sophomore Amanda DeAngelis had 20 points and a four 3s, and frosh Courtney Shay added 14 points. The Lancers have one more game at Keene before the Division 1 tournament begins.

Victoria Overko drilled five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 22 points to lead Pinkerton to a 63-49 win over Londonderry, lifting the surging Astros to 16-2. 

Senior Sierra Carr led Salem with 15 points and Emily Doucette nailed three 3s, as the Blue Devils picked up their first win over rival Londonderry, 51-47, since the 2013 season. In that game four years ago, Brenna Blakslee led the Blue Devils with 29 points on five 3-pointers.

Londonderry sophomore Michelle Marino broke out to score a season-high 16 points as the Lancers bounced back with a 62-53 win over Nashua South. Fellow sophomores Amanda DeAngelis (17 points) and Emmy Dumaresq (6 points) also played well.

Amanda DeAngelis scored all 16 of her points in the second half to help turn a 15-15 halftime tie into a 56-40 Londonderry victory over Merrimack.

Londonderry got off to a 27-7 start in the first quarter on its way to a 76-46 rout of Exeter. Amanda DeAngelis led with 18 points and Hannah Hagearty added 16.

An agressive Pentucket team had no problems getting to the free throw line, nailing 15 freebies to help beat Londonderry 52-44 in the consolotion game of the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic. Alyssa Demeule had 14 points to lead the Sachems, who will play Central Catholic in the fifth place game Friday at 4:30 p.m. Londonderry will play Winnacunnet in the seventh place game Friday at 2:45 p.m.

The Londonderry girls basketball team may be seeded eighth going into the Christmas Tourney, but the Lancers have gotten off to a terrific start. The beat Spaulding 67-25 to improve to 3-0 on the year, with Kelsey Coffey leading the way with 15 points.

Amanda DeAngelis shredded the Nashua North defense, scoring 19 points and knocking down a 3-pointer to lead Londonderry to a 56-53 win. Kelsey Coffey added 12 points on two 3's for the Lancers.
