Returning starters: Annie Burns, Sr. keeper; Erica Skinner, Sr. defense; Cait Clark, Jr. midfield; Cara Connors, Jr. midfield; Jamie White, Jr. forward; Lucy Gildein, Soph. midfield.
Strengths: Offense shows great potential. Clark had 10 goals last season while Gildein was 8-4-12 and White 6-3-9. Off the bench, Ashley McKenelley was 7-2-9. Midfield will be strong once again, led by Clark. Burns should also have a big season. Yanakakis is hoping for the same balance as 2006 when the Lady Chieftains won Division 1 North (1-0 over Winchester).
Concerns: Skinner, the team's stopper, is the only returning defender.
Coach's outlook: "We'd like to be CAL Large champs and make a good showing in the tournament."
