Coach: Gail Kelleher (38th season)

Last year's record: 12-3-6

Key players: Abbey Pare, sr.; Kelsey Fournier, sr.; Nicole Carte, sr.; Katie Hathaway, sr.; Kendall Connors, sr.; Andrea LaCaubba, sr.; Gabbey Magnifico, jr.; Jessica Nikas, jr. Top newcomers: Maggie Santosuosso, jr.; Alyssa Lariziere, jr.; Rebecca LeBlanc, sr.; Gretchen Scholtz, sr.; Elizabeth Walsh, sr.

Strengths: An old fashioned and dedicated group of seniors that provide great leadership. There is talent throughout the program, the coaching staff will need to decide where players fit.

Concerns: The team did not graduate a lot of seniors, but they graduated star players. Depth could be an issue especially adjusting the younger players to the faster level of play at the varsity level.

First game: Sept. 7 vs. Masconomet (3:45 p.m., Amesbury High)

Coach's outlook: "I think we can challenge for the top spot again this year. We could be in for a bit of a roller-coaster ride, but we just hope to level off at the top."
