Coach: Cathy Berry (6th season), 16-58-16

Last season: 4-13-1

Key players: Alianna Ortu, jr.; Katlyn Santosuosso, sr.; Chelsea Sylvester, sr.; Jen Fuller, sr.; Nicole Richardson, jr.; Bri-Shannon Hopkins, sr.

Impact newcomers: Roxanne Griffith, soph.; Colleen Brockmyre, soph.

Strengths: Nine returning seniors in which seven saw significant time last season. Experienced goalie should be an area that we shine in and help out our defense.

Concerns: Confidence wise, struggle with getting wins, after a couple of losses hard to climb out of holes. My job is to keep them positive. They have shown that they will work hard, so we are driven in changing the path of this team.

First game: Sept. 6 vs. Rockport (4p.m.)

Coach's outlook: "Set we want to be in better position at halfway point as close as possible to .500, to make a run in the second half of the season."
