No. 12 Whittier took just four shots on goal in a 4-0 loss to No. 5 Lynnfield in the first round of the Division 3 North tournament. Whittier ended its season with a 6-10-3 record.
"Overall we didn't come out as hard as the North Shore game," coach Tjitse Boringa said.
"We played hard in the first but after the third goal at the beginning of the second half, we started losing our push and drive. But I'm proud of them."
