In one of the most dramatic games of the season, Marblehead's Evan Comeau blocked a Revere punt in the fourth quarter and teammate Jamie Wade returned it 35 yards for the winning touchdown as the Magicians edged vastly-improved Revere, 13-12.
Marblehead, now 3-2, twice overcame deficits to earn the win. The Magicians trailed 6-0 in the second quarter when Mike Sahagian broke loose for an 82-yard touchdown to tie it. Ian McKinley kicked the extra point for a 7-6 lead.
Revere's Anthony DeFeo scored from five yards out to give the Patriots a 12-7 lead before Comeau, who came off the edge, blocked the punt that led to Wade's scoring opportunity.
Sahagian finished with 122 yards on 22 carries and Matt O'Neill chipped in 27 yards on five attempts.
Defensively, Nick Haller made an interception for Marblehead and linebacker Eric Fader and strong safety Wade played exceptionally well, according to the Marblehead coaches.
