The Amesbury Indians (4-8) struggled from the tip against the Wilmington Wildcats, falling 54-38. Gabby Magnifico led the Indians with 10 points, while Colleen Brockmyre added nine, and Deryn Zahoruiko tallied eight points and nine boards. The score was 33-13 at the half. Wilmington's Amy Fahey led the Wildcats with 17 points.
"They were a couple steps ahead of us the whole way," said Amesbury coach Chris Perry.
