The Amesbury girls tennis team beat Masconomet 3-2 to improve to 9-7 on the season, good enough to earn a berth to the upcoming state tournament. Maddie Sartori won a three-set thriller at first singles 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, Ruth Guilbault won at second singles 7-5, 6-1, and the team of Mareike Mueller and Lia Wingfield won at second doubles 6-1, 6-1.
