Pentucket's Jack Donahue played a third singles match against Manchester Essex's Jeff Durkin that lasted almost 2 1/2 hours in Division 3 North quarterfinals.
Durkin pulled out the victory 7-5, 2-6, 7-6, 8-6 to lead the No. 6 seed Manchester Essex to a 3-2 match win over third-seeded Pentucket.
Both Pentucket double teams won. Chris Adams and Danny Ryan won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. Brandon Conn and Chris Gilman won 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
