Lawrence girls track got its first win of the season against Notre Dame of Tyngsboro 48-36. Keyla Rodriguez won the 1,000 with a time of 3:21.7 and Leanna Pham won the mile with a time of 6:19.3.The Lancers did fall to Haverhill, which was paced by double winner Meaghan Broderick and improved to 3-3.

Brianna Martin, who switched over from basketball, continued to perform on a high level for the Central Catholic indoor track team, winning the 300 in a 65-21 rout of Dracut with a time of 41.8. Her teammate in softball, Meg Donegan, had a personal-best winning throw of 33-11 in the shot put.
