CONCORD — The Londonderry boys once again are headed to the Division 1 state quarterfinals, but this year’s road came dangerously close to ending an exit early.

After squandering every bit of a 13-point fourth-quarter lead the seventh-seeded Lancers needed a pair of free throws by Mike Colby over the final 42 seconds to hold off hard-charging, defending-state champion Pinkerton for a 55-53 victory at New Hampshire Technical Institute.

Pinkerton's boys limited Dover to seven points in the fourth quarter and rallied for a 50-46 victory. Chad Park led a balanced attack with 12 points.

Alex Patrikis tried to limit Spaulding's possessions, hauling down 10 defensive rebounds, but Pinkerton just didn't have quite enough in dropping a 65-58 decision.

Senior guard Chad Park netted 20 points, including hitting two 3-pointers, to lift Pinkerton boys basketball to a 59-54 victory over Nashua South, which lost despite outscoring the Astros 20-11 in the fourth quarter. 

Salem used back-to-back 3s by Andrew Ruffen (12 points) and Jeff Meisser (9 points) to take control en route to a 54-50 win over Pinkerton. Salem led by 12 midway through the third but Pinkerton, behind Ryan Williams, post a big comeback to lead early in the fourth, 45-44. Jonny Klecan was a force on defense in the win.

Chad Park had 10 points and Ryan Williams added eight as Pinkerton exploded for 31 fourth-quarter points to rally past host Keene, 78-63.
