The Andover field hockey team crept to within one step of an undefeated regular season by dropping Haverhill, 5-0. Smooth Sarah Oteri scored twice and chipped in a pair of assists for the 16-0-1 Warriors, who finish up with Lawrence Thursday night.

Stabile, Tatro pace Hillie upset

Beth Strong netted the equalizer 10 minutes into the second half and Rebecca Stabile scored the game-winner on a breakaway with seven minutes left as Haverhill field hockey upset Methuen, 2-1. Stabile hit the post and it deflected in.

Haverhill held off a hard-charging Lawrence squad, surviving for a 4-2 triumph. Beth Strong scored twice and Becca Stabile had a pair of assists for the Hillies, who moved to 5-5 on the season thanks to strong defense from senior Kelsea Archambault and midfielder Liz Henderson.
