Delfy Soler led Lawrence volleyball with 12 kills to go along with 23 service points and 12 aces, as the Lancers trounced Essex Tech, 3-0, in the first round of the Division 1 North state tournament.

Lawrence's volleyball team tuned up for the state tournament with an impressive 3-2 win over a strong Milford team. Delfy Soler had 26 kills and 16 digs for the Lancers (17-3). Christopher Gil had 39 assists. 

Kevin Stevenson notched 13 kills, Jack Roderick supplied 28 assists and Alex Nadeau added 27 digs as Central Catholic boys volleyball topped Lawrence, 3-1.

Lawrence bounced back from a defeat in the first set to top Billerica, 3-1. Delfy Soler led the way with 15 digs, 14 kills and eight service points. Christopher Gil added 22 assists.

After a 34-kill game a couple of nights ago, Lawrence's Delfy Soler followed with 24 kills in a 3-1 win over Chelmsford. Adryan Espinal chipped in 14 service points, 6 aces and 4 blocks.

Lawrence senior Delfy Soler broke current head coach Hector Sanchez's school record with 34 kills, leading the Lancers to a 3-1 win over Central Catholic. Soler also had match-highs of 13 service points and seven aces. Lawrence senior Jose Dominici led all players with 39 assists. Central Catholic was led by senior Kevin Stevenson, who had 12 kills and three blocks, while senior Alex Nadeau had a match-high 20 digs.

Defending MVc champion Lawrence opened its volleyball season with a sweep of Andover. Adryan Espinal led the Lancers with 13 kills.
