Reggies defense delivers 'Bowl' statement

Whittier takes another step toward playoffs

TYNGSBORO — After a rocky first half, Whittier buckled down and played textbook football to blow past Greater Lowell 26-0.

The ‘Cats struggled early, turning the ball over four times in the first half, including a fumbled punt that led to a drive deep into Whittier territory.

Hornets stay dominant, roll past Greater Lowell

 TYNGSBORO - Manchester Essex's game against Greater Lowell Tech on Saturday looked a lot like the Hornets' other four this season.

Another win, and another blowout.

The Hornets (5-0) disposed of the Gryphons 34-18 despite losing quarterback Pat Orlando to an ankle injury on the second drive of the game. Backup quarterback Alex Carr came in to relieve Orlando and the team didn't miss a beat putting up 28 first half points and executing a balanced offense.

Modlish, Pentucket pound Greater Lowell

TYNGSBORO — After falling on opening day, Pentucket had two weeks to think about the loss, and prepare for Greater Lowell.
