Timberlane tuned up for Wednesday's showdown at Concord by crushing Hollis-Brookline, Windham and Nashua South in a quad-meet to improve to 20-1. Brandon Berube had three pins at 152 and brother Justin Berube was also 3-0. Dylan Tremblay and Steven Blaisdell were both 3-0 wrestling at two weight classes.

Steven Blaisdell continued his recent surge with three pins at 182 as Timberlane routed Bishop Guertin, Bedford and Merrimack to improve to 12-0 while extending its in-state winning streak to 136 straight. Ryan Cole had a pin at both 220 and heavyweight and both Nick Roeger (106) and Barret Kappler (113) were 3-0 with two pins.
Read More »Salem pulled out probably the closest win you can possibly have in wrestling, beating Bedford 40-39 via the eighth tiebreaking criteria. Salem got pins from Matt Adams, Dylan McKeon and Beau Dillon, but when the final score was tied at 39-39, they had to go through eight tiebreakers before the meet was ultimately decided by Salem having more first points scored.
