After losing to Central Catholic to open and close the regular season, Chelmsford fought back from a halftime deficit and scored with 8.4 seconds left to play to take the Division 1 North first round matchup, 13-12. With three goals and an assist each, Kelly Daigle and Meri Anthoine led Central's offense throughout the back-and-forth battle.

Meri Anthoine found the mark with just 1 1/2 minutes left to play to give Central Catholic a come-from-behind 9-8 lacrosse victory over Chelmsford. "It was a good game on a sloppy day," said Raiders head coach Phil Rowley. "Both teams worked hard."

Freshmen Jenna Palmisano and Livie Couturier notched their first career goals, and starting goalie Mary Foggo came out of the net in the second half and scored in Central Catholic's convincing 15-5 lacrosse victory over Dracut.

Central Catholic's girls lacrosse team got goals from six players and excellent defense from Claire Foggo, Courtney Wilson, Taylor O'Neil and Anya Housiamitis in a commanding 12-3 victory over Billerica.

Andover's girls lacrosse team opened its season in impressive fashion, whipping Central Catholic 14-3. Ally Fazio, Anne Farnham and Weezie Gross all had hat tricks and Jackie Alois and Bridget Morris stood out on defense.
