North Reading's Dave Richard had a monster game for Austin Prep, scoring 30 points with 12 rebounds to lead the Cougars to a 68-61 win over St. Clement in the first round of the Division 4 North tournament. Andover's Stephen Reddy scored 14 points, and Andover's Logan Bravo had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Prep now plays top seeded Matignon in the Division 4 North quarterfinals on Friday.

Camille Holleran had a two-run double in the first and blasted a three-time homer in the third as PMA rolled over St. Clements 17-0. Lindsay Gill allowed a single hit and struck out nine.

Chris Ruiz hit six threes on his way to a 21-point night as Lawrence High knocked off St. Clement, 66-36, to advance to the finals of the St. Mary's Tournament.

Junior guard Tommy Hogan pumped in 12 points and junior center Chris Capozzoli added 15 as North Reading roughed up St. Clement, 74-36, for its first win of the season.
