Sometimes it's the offense and sometimes it's the defense.
But yesterday it was netminder Brian McConnell who keyed the Bishop Fenwick boys soccer team.
McConnell stopped 11 shots to lead Bishop Fenwick to a 2-0 win over St. Mary's in the Catholic Central
"He was fantastic," said Crusaders coach David Mitchell. Pablo Sosa opened the scoring just seven minutes into the game with a nifty assist from Doug Garabedian.
"Doug did a good job directing the play today," Mitchell said. "This was a total team effort."
Danny Crane chipped in with Fenwick's (5-2-1, 4-1-1 CCL) other goal, while Mark Price also shined in the defensive end.
