Impact newcomers: Eleni Kacher, fr.; Emily Frost, jr.; Emily Vartabedian, sr.

Strengths: Continuity and firepower, it only lost two starters, familiarity in personality and style of play and expectations.

Concerns: Injuries and depth at the backline, Grace Curry, Mary Ryan, and Taylor Whitehill are all out with long term injuries and all were slated to start on defense.

First game: Sept. 8 at Lowell (11 a.m.)

Coach's outlook: "Goal is still to win North sectional, if a championship comes our way that is great, but you need some breaks to come your way. We want to do well in the league and go deep in the tournament. We have a target on our backs from years past, but that's the price you pay for success."
