Georgetown stormed back from a 23-point halftime deficit to close the gap to as little as five, but the magic couldn't continue in a 58-53 loss to Fenway in the Division 4 quarrterfinal round.
Senior forward Kelli O'Brien scored 13 of her team-best 19, in the second half. She also had 10 rebounds
"We came out a little slow in the first half but in the second half we got much more agressive on defense," said Georgetown head coach Dave Tucker. "I am prouid of the kids, especially in the second half."
Morgan Gott had a fine game with 12 points and six assists.
