Coach: Rob Bilsbury (eighth year)

Returning starters: Robbie Longcor, Sr., center midfield/forward; Guiseppe Guerriero, Sr., forward; Jake McIntosh, Jr., center midfield; Matt Xavier, So., outside midfield; Cam Doane, So., defense; Peter Gudonis, Jr., midfield; Ashton Davis Sr., defense.

Strengths: With the season still in its early stages, it appears that the Hornets overall skill level is solid. A lot of the players played soccer in the offseason, and Robbie Longcor leads an experienced group. The players have bought into the team philosophy on how to attack and defend.

Concerns: The Hornets will have to adapt to game speed and work on their overall fitness level, endurance and strength.

Coach's outlook: "I think we are in a position to improve on last year's record. The goals is to make the tournament and take one match at a time."

Season opener: Friday, Sept. 7 vs. North Shore
