No. 5 seeded Georgetown crushed No. 1 Matigon 9-1 in a Division 3 North semifinal game and advanced to the fina at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Woburn. It will play the winner of today's semifinal between Shawsheen and Greater Lowell.
Seven players scored for Georgetown. Both Casey Decareau and Nicoline Holland scored two goals each.
"This was a solid team effort and it feels great to get to the finals after losing twice the last three years in the semifinals," coach Colleen Gibbs said.
Decareau scored the first two goals and assisted the third. Holland scored the third and fifth goals.
First-half keeper Jamie Block scored a goal in the second half.
