CAMBRIDGE | The Peabody High football team isn't only looking for its first win of the Dick Woodbury Era | they're still looking for their first points.
Hitting the road for the first time this season, the Tanners and their new head coach travelled to Cambridge and, for the second straight week, were held off the scoreboard in falling to the host Falcons, 36-0.
In two games so far this season, Peabody has been outscored 80-0.
Peabody (0-2) had no answer for Cambridge's Josh Adams last night. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior back scored on runs of 3 and 2 yards, ran for one 2-point conversion and caught another conversion pass.
The Falcons scored in every quarter against their former Greater Boston League rivals. Quarterback Ray Doucette tossed a 53-yard scoring pass to Jesse Sparks in the first quarter, then hooked up with Gerard Warrens for a 27-yard TD in the third.
Jerome Rodriguez scored the hosts' final touchdown a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Peabody will face another former GBL foe, Arlington, on the road next Friday night.
