The inside presence of junior Julio Colon made all the difference in Georgetown's 68-48 dismantling of Newburyport.
Colon, who "played like he was 6-6 instead of 6-2" according to head coach Mike Rowinski, dropped in a career-high 24 points as a worthy complement to Cape Ann League Small Player of the Year Jaymie Spears' game-high 25 points.
The win nets the Royals a share of the CAL Small title with North Reading and a 17-3 record, which should lock up the top spot in the upcoming Division 4 North tourney.
