After an unbelievable 34-point performance by Jaymie Spears, in addition to five steals and six assists, Georgetown tied a school record for wins with 14 in a season. The Royals survived a tough Manchester Essex team that nearly climbed all the way back from a 10-point lead inside the final two minutes. However, with a big fourth quarter effort by Julio Colon (7 points in the quarter, 11 overall), Georgetown survived.
