Andover played tough defense in the first half, rolling to a 6-2 lead, and went on for a 13-8 win over Winchester in the first round of the Division 1 North girls lacrosse tournament. Emma Farnum led the attack for the Warriors (14-7) with four goals while Brooke Lenes and Jordan Torres scored three apiece.
The Warriors will now play No. 1 seed Chelmsford on the road Wednesday at 7 p.m.
