North Andover pulled even with Masconomet early in the second half but the Chieftains scored two unanswered goals to hand the Knights a 5-3 loss. Jenn Pino scored twice for North Andover and Alli Quinlan tallied the other goal for the Knights (1-2-1).
"We were playing very well but they (Masconomet) are a good team with great speed," said North Andover head coach Bud McCarthy. "Every time we made a mistake, they pounced on it. It was the type of game where you could not make a mistake.
