GEORGETOWN — Trailing 20-0 at halftime to Lynn Tech, Georgetown rallied to with two points before dropping a 34-25 decision. It was a game matching Lynn Tech's ground attack against the passing of Tommy Long.
Long, who also ran for a score, passed for 376 yards. Anthony D'Amato, who also returned a kickoff 70 yards for a TD, had seven receptions for 181 yards while Hunter Lane hauled in nine passes for 147 yards.
Zach Beauvais led the defense with 12 tackles for Georgetown (1-2), which hosts Coyle Cassidy next Friday.
