Greater Lawrence's softball team had a long and uncomfortable trip to Fenway for its Division 3 North opener, but it proved worthwhile with a 19-3 romp. The Reggies scored six runs in the first and 10 more in the second and then coasted to the five-inning rout.
Star freshman Ariana Cruz (3 for 4, 3 runs scored) and Olivia Michaud ( 2 for 4) both had two-run homers for the Reggies (11-8), who face Brighton Monday on Boston College's home turf field.
