As expected, Central Catholic rolled to the title of the 12-team Winnacunnet Tournament with 193 points, comfortably ahead of runner-up and MVC rival Haverhill (143 1/2).
The Raiders had three top seeds and they all came through with titles — 106-pounder Tyler Glynn, 126-pounder Tom Pagliarulo and 160-pounder Donovan Nolan. Finishing second for Central were Joey Sanchez (132), Dan Doherty (145), Brandon Desfosses (152) and Nick Janco (195). Desfosses picked up his first loss when he injury defaulted in the finals as a precaution.
Picking up the 152-pound title was Haverhill's Reece Millington, who improved to 32-2 on the year. Also for the Hillies, Luc Chretien improved to 29-1 by winning the 220-pound crown, edging Manchester Central's Ellis Feliz in the finals.
Matt Coyne picked upma second for the Hillies at 138.
