Key returnees: Erik Juncker, Sr., C; Derek Osmond, Sr., P/SS; Cory Emerson, Sr., P; Matt Hendy, Sr., IF; Isacc Dann, Sr., IF; Dave Campbell, Jr., IF.
Strengths: Rockport should be very strong defensively. When Derek Osmond is not pitching, he plays a tremendous shortstop. Parisi also believes Erik Juncker is the best catcher in the Cape Ann League.
Concerns: Pitching depth was the question last year and will be entering this season. Osmond is a proven ace and Cory Emerson is a capable No. 2. But a few sophomores will be relied on to step up and round out the pitching staff.
Coach's outlook: "I keep telling people that I'm cautiously optimistic. I like our attitude and work ethic and we should be able to pick up that one win that kept us out of the state tournament last year. Our goal is to win the Cape Ann League Small."
