A trio of double-winners paced the Falcons (1-0) to an 82-54 win in the season opener for both teams. Maria Pantazelos took the 300 low hurdles (51.3) and the 200 (27.8), Liz Burgess took first place in the mile (5:51.5) and the high jump (4-10) and Taryn Pydynkowski was victorious in the triple jump (29-9) and the javelin (62-9).
Winners for the Witches (0-1) included Charilis Abreau (shot, 26-4), Grace Bennett (discus, 73-9), Camille Wahtne (high hurdles, 17-9), Meghan Wilkins (long jump, 15-0) and Desire DeLeon (100, 13.4).
