Meg Collins made a clutch diving save on the third penalty kick and North Andover's Taylor Casale, Abbie Karalis, Amanda DeMaio and Mikayla Guthrie each made their PKs to give the Knights a 2-1 win over Danvers Tuesday night.
In the Division 2 North quarterfinals, No. 5 North Andover (15-2-2) will play at No. 4 Marblehead (16-1-3) on Friday at 3 p.m.
Danvers (11-7-1) scored nine minutes into the second half as Meghan McCarriston found the back of the net. Casale evened it up about 17 minutes later.
Collins (9 saves) and Amanda Backe (10 saves) were impenetrable the rest of regulation and the two 10-minute sudden death OTs.
North Andover didn't miss in the PKs, outscoring the Falcons 4-2.
Knights coach Lisa Rasanen was thrilled with the play of outside midfielders Deven Sportelli and Stephanie Stabile. Sportelli was filling in for an ill teammate.
"They ran their butts off tonight," said the second-year head coach.
