Last year's record: 6-13-1

Coach: Mark Thomas (2nd year)

Key returnees: John DePaula, Sr., 112 lbs.; Raz Davidyan, Sr., 140; Brian Kureta, Sr., 250; Michael Tarr, Sr., 119; Sam Rinaldo, Sr., 152

Strengths: The Panthers return 11 of 14 starters from last season, which was their first as a varsity program in 20 years. Those returning gained valuable experience a year ago, and this year's squad is already displaying a positive attitude and a great work ethic as they build a postive atmosphere and culture around the program, according to Thomas.

Concerns: The lack of experience, being that many of the wrestlers first stepped on the mat last year and go up against more seasoned foes each time out.

Coach's outlook: "We have a more difficult schedule than last year, and we hope that our experience gained will help us improve. Making the team tournament will be a difficult task, but we think our core group of players should fare well at the individual sectionals."
