With Timberlane battling Concord to a standoff, Gunnar Ericsson found the mark on a beautiful direct kick from 40 yards out near his own sidelines. From there, the Owls' offense erupted for a 4-1 victory.

Goalie Tom Sullivan (15 saves) came up big in the Timberlane net, getting help from sweeper Ben Enos, who has been "unreal all season," according to head coach Bill Mealey.
