Strengths: The Hornets bring back seven seniors who will provide the leadership. James Settipane (14 ppg) and Marty Nally (13 ppg) give Manchester Essex a quick backcourt with the ability to score.
Concerns: Aside from 6-foot-4 Brian Ciccone, the Hornets don't have a great deal of height, so they will have to rebound from every position. The team will also hope its football players can make a quick transition to the hardwood after a long fall season.
Coach's outlook: "We are looking to get back to the state tournament."
