Pentucket reveled in the good (a 16-point halftime lead) and struggled through the bad (a 6-point overtime deficit), but pulled itself together at the very end to edge Newburyport, 57-55.
Parker Kelly hit a clutch 3-pointer to slice the Sachems' OT deficit in half, then guard Corey McNamara (game-high 24 points with six 3s) drained a pair of jumpers to put Pentucket on top to stay.
The Sachems host Georgetown tomorrow night in the River Rivals Tourney finals.
