The unbeaten Andover girls basketball team faced a tough test with Rhode Island power LaSalle (15-2), which had only a loss to a New York City team, and came away with an impressive 66-57 victory.
Despite being hounded, senior standout Nicole Boudreau led the Warriors (15-0) with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals while Angelice Gonzalez chipped in with 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Also Jackie Alois held 6-foot-3 LaSalle standout Lian Raup to eight points.
"That was agood team and we had to play well to win it," said Andover coach Jim Tildsley.
