In its first tournament appearance in over 30 years, the North Reading field hockey team fell to powerful Belmont 4-0 in the Division 2 North first round, but coach Lindsay Breen was hardly despondent.
"We actually played very well and it was good for my kids to see a different style of play," said Breen. "Plus, they (Belmont didn't substitute and I played all my kids. This was a good experience for us."
