Pentucket's boys tennis team lost its first match of the season, 4-1 to Bedford in the Division 3 North quarterfinals.
"We had a great season, but Bedford plays in a tough league and we didn't play as well today as we have been," said Pentucket coach Christian Langlois.
The lone winner was Pat Dahn at second singles while No. 1 singles player Ryan Swanson lost his first match of the season in three sets. Pentucket played well in doubles but was not consistent enough according to Langlois.
