1.St. John's Prep (10-5-3): Now virtually assured of a spot in the Super 8 tournament, the Eagles will look to finish up their regular season on a roll. Special teams have been particularly strong as of late.

2.Andover (13-2-4): Golden Warriors have run away from the pack in the MVC/DCL in their first year as a Division 1 program. Their test of the season looms Saturday against arch rival Central Catholic.

3.Gloucester (11-4-2): Just when people were starting to doubt them, the Fishermen responded in the biggest way possible, smacking Peabody on their home ice and wrapping up the NEC Large title.

4.Peabody (13-5-0): Crushing home loss to Gloucester showed the Tanners' two biggest Achilles' heels -- consistency and goaltending -- are still major issues as they hit the homestretch of the regular season.

5.Danvers (10-5-2): Keeping down the shots against down has been a Falcons' hallmark this season, while the first line continues to pile up the points seemingly at will.

6.Central Catholic (8-5-4): After an 8-1 blowout of Haverhill, Raiders now have to get serious starting with a key matchup against Andover. Tim Houston has led the way, with five goals in his last two games.

7.Timberlane (12-4-1): Owls had their 10-game unbeaten streak snapped with a recent 4-3 loss to Dover and still have challenging games remaining vs. Spaulding and Oyster River before the tournament.

8.Salem, N.H. (14-4-0): The Blue Devils are finally back on a roll with three straight wins as Josh Frahm has four goals in his last three games while younger brother Mike has two in his last three.

9.Swampscott (10-4-4): The Big Blue, who have gone 7-1-1 in their last nine games, can wrap up the NEC Small title this Saturday if they defeat arch rival Marblehead.

10.Newburyport (10-6-1): Having won four straight contests and qualified for the postseason, the Clippers now look to capture their division in the Newburyport Bank Classic next week.

11.Masconomet (11-7-0): Two straight losses merely represent a blip in the road for this talented team, but they need a win or two before the postseason starts to get some momentum back.

12.Bishop Fenwick (10-6-1): Just missed out on winning the Central Catholic League Small crown, but a win over Peabody in Monday's annual Carlin Cup game would do wonders for their confidence.
