Matt Rodgers, Peabody Soph. LW: Sophomore had four goals in his first three games, including four in an opening night win over Salem.

Pat O'Kane, Danvers Sr. G: Stopped 30 shots, many of the acrobatic variety, to help Falcons preserve a 3-3 opening night tie with Swampscott.

Chris Bushey, Beverly Sr. LW: Had two goals and pair of assists as the Panthers began the season with a pair of victories.

Tom Brazil, Masconomet Jr. RW: Had three goals in a span of two wins for the Chieftains, including two third period strikes in a 4-2 win over Haverhill.

A.J. Parker, Peabody Soph. LW: Netted three goals, including two in a 4-goal third period, as Peabody beat Medford, 7-4, for the first time in 22 years.

Steve Kontos, Danvers Sr. RW: Falcons' tri-captain and leading goal scorer from a year ago scored twice in his team's opener.

Derek McCoy, Newburyport Sr. F: Clipper captain netted a goal in his team's 4-2 opening night loss to Masconomet.

Brandon Middleton, Triton Jr. F: Viking netted his first two varsity goals in a 7-1 victory over NA.

Jeremy Fanning, Gloucester, Jr. F: The Gloucester forward tallied five points, with three goals and two assists in the first two games of the season for the Fishermen.

Trevor DeVitto, Timberlane, Jr., defense: Scored twice to lead Owls over Goffstown 4-2 Dec. 12.

Joel Willbrant, Londonderry, Sr., goalie: Made 36 saves in a 4-0 loss to Concord Dec. 12.

Justin Kurek, Central Catholic, Sr., forward: Scored twice in 7-0 blowout of Bishop Rice Dec. 15.

Mike Sylvia, North Reading, Sr., forward: Notched a hat trick in Hornets' 7-3 win over Pentucket Dec. 15.

Kevin Hitchko, Andover, Sr., forward: Scored twice to lead Andover over Chelmsford Dec. 15.

Jared Haney, Methuen, Sr., forward: Scored a goal in the Rangers 3-2 loss to Somerville.
