Junior Colby Shawver went 2 for 3 at the dish and had three stolen bases to help Pelham baseball earn a 6-2 win over Milford and move to 3-1. Starting pitcher Matt Poff went the distance on the mound and also had a hit and two RBIs at the plate.

Playing a first-round Division 2 opener against Milford.the Owls played sound defense, outrebounded the visiting Spartans and got more than their share of loose balls.

Pelham senior Danielle Sirois scored her 1,000th career point in the Pythons' 60-25 win over Milford. The Southern New Hampshire recruit finished the night with 20 points.

Pinkerton bowling finished second with a 1,453 and Sanborn was third with a 1,511 at a four-team meet. The Astros were paced by Dan Kirichok, Bryant Nourse, and Elijah Johnson.  

Brielle Porter had a season-high 15 points with a pair of 3's to help Timberlane earn a 39-34 win over Milford. Lauren Rich chipped in 11 points for the Owls.

Matt Perry pumped in 24 and Sam Hovan added 11 as Timberlane tripped Milford 71-49.

Trailing in the first round, Salem's Dylan McKeon came back to earn a pin in 3:59 at 195. His victory helped the Blue Devils earn a comfortable win over Milford.

DERRY — Windham frontcourt standouts Emily Frank and Taylor Sawyer are tournament tested, so they were confident coming into Wednesday night’s Division 2 volleyball semifinal against Milford.

KINGSTON — As it has for most of the season, Sanborn relied on senior workhorse Chris Hanna to carry the load offensively.

Always up for a challenge, Hanna took the rock 32 times for 115 yards and a touchdown to help the Indians take a 14-13 victory over Milford.
