James Moran had quite the day on the mound and at the plate to help Pelham beat Milford 5-2. Moran was the winning pitcher, striking out 14 and allowing two runs over seven innings. Meanwhile, he also had three hits and knocked in four runs. 

Conor McColgan won the shot put (36-3) and javelin (136-5) and placed second in the discus (106-6) in Pelham's tri-meet with victor Milford and Bishop Brady.

After dropping their singles matches, Jacky Ta and Kammi Mickle rebounded and combined to roll in the No. 2 doubles match, 8-3, powering Pelham to a sweet, 5-4, girls tennis win over Milford. Rebekah Day and Lauren Tacco were on their games as well for the Pythons, sweeping singles and doubles.

Pelham surrendered a seven-point third-period lead and dropped a 60-54 decision to Milford. Freshman Gina Grimes (game-high 18 points) and senior Jacqui Perry (16 points) led the Python offense.

Caitlyn Shea had a pair of victories including a personal best in the 500 freestyle (5:25.56) as part of Salem's meet against Nashua North, Milford and Pelham. Shea also won the 200 IM while Jackie Mayo triumphed in the 200 freestyle and placed third in the 100 freestyle. Patricia Caiati placed in a pair of events for the Blue Devils (third in the 500 freestyle and fourth in the 200 IM).

In a meeting of two of Class I's preseason favorites, a mini-meltdown did Pelham in as host Milford prevailed, 50-45.

Before a packed house of 550, the Pythons suffered their first league defeat via 0 for 6 field goal shooting and 4 of 11 from the foul line in the crucial fourth quarter, seeing a tie game drift away in the final 1 1/2 minutes. 

Pelham rode 10 points from senior Jacqui Perry and seven more from classmate Nicole Mastacouris to its first victory of the season, 44-40 over Milford.

Pelham's golf squad improved to 8-1, riding a score of 174 to a sweep over Kearsarge (177), Kingswood (189)and Milford (190). Leading the way were co-medalists Corey Couillard and Jesse Vaiknoras, while freshman Nick Neary and sophomore Alec Surprenant contributed well for the Indians.
