Sophomore Shaun McKay scored his first career varsity goal to help North Andover beat Lincoln-Sudbury 3-0. Ben Carlson made 35 saves to record his first shutout of the season.

Down 2-1 with just over a minute left to play, Central Catholic pulled goalie Matthew Pasquale for the extra skater, and the move paid off. Will Winship scored an unassisted goal moments later to give the Raiders a 2-2 tie with Lincoln-Sudbury.

Ryan Mackey potted two goals and five teammates scored once each as Methuen rolled over Lincoln-Sudbury 7-3. Justin Pitari added a goal and an assist for the Rangers.

Nicole Elbeery scored 14 points with three 3-pointers and Maura Smith added 11 points as Central Catholic opened up with a 52-43 win over Lincoln-Sudbury in the MVC-DCL Challenge.

Andover's girls soccer team held tough with talented Lincoln-Sudbury, trailing just 1-0 at the half, but L-S wore down the Warriors in the second half and pulled away for a 5-0 victory in the Division 1 North quarterfinals. Izzy Shih had six saves for Andover, which finished its season at 10-8-2.

Central Catholic (ranked No. 1 in the Boston Globe's girls soccer Top-20), got three goals from Elayna Grillakis to defeat No.4 ranked Lincoln-Sudbury 5-2 Monday. Ashley Raphael had a goal and two assists for the Raiders, and Amanda Fay made 13 big saves.

After winning both doubles, Andover's Arman Rafiee came back after a first-set loss to win the next two 6-1, 6-2 to clinch the victory for the Warriors. Andover advacnes to the Division 1 North semi-finals where they will play either top-seeded Lexington or No. 9 Newton South who play Saturday. 

Andover girls tennis rebounded from its first loss of the season to beat Lincoln-Sudbury  4-1. Helen Zhao and Julia Spagnuolo teamed to win first doubles to lead the Warriors.

Courtney Nash lost her first set of the season, but rallied for a 4-6, 6-0, 6-2 victory at top singles and Andover downed Lincoln-Sudbury 4-1.

Lauren McDonough fired a four-hitter, striking out 10, as Methuen handed Lincoln-Sudbury its first loss, 6-2. Nyah Mazzone was 2 for 3 with an RBI and scored a run.
