Duxbury took a one-goal lead with 25 seconds to play, but Londonderry won the draw and Leah Walter (five goals) notched the equalizer as Londonerry tied Duxbury 19-19 (no overtime played). Jenny Thompson had seven goals to pace the Lancers (3-0-1) while Alexa Bedell added six.

Leah Walters scored with 2:30 to play to lift Londonderry girls lacrosse to a 12-11 win over Mass. power Duxbury. The Lancers, who have now won 44 straight matches, battled back from an early 3-0 deficit. Alexa Bedell had four goals and three assists and Jenny Thompson added three goals in the win. Duxbury is ranked No. 9 in the state by ESPN Boston.

All and all it was a great season.  Tonight we played a gaat first half and tney came out in the third quarter and scored 10 goals from  the oustide.  hung our first banner in program (MVC 2 champ).

FOXBOROUGH — The Gloucester football team had their bid for a second straight Division 2A Super Bowl derailed by Duxbury this afternoon. After a back and forth three quarters the Dragons took over the game in the fourth en route to a 46-26 win at Gillette Stadium.
